A Pleasent Saturday With Little Unrest...Litte, Not None
Today was a pleasant day, with little unrest. As the title implies. Ok, technically, it was yesterday cause it's already 3am now, so it's in fact, Sunday already. But still, I shall blog about 'today'.
It started off with me waking up late. Around 9.45am to be exact. And we were supposed to meet at 10am, at May's house. I made it without being too late, but was late nonetheless. I would have been even later, if it weren't for the extremely fast bus driver.
Anyway, the main thing is, we went to Serangoon Country Club to '' study ". Well, May, Yuyan and Linda did study, little, but still called studying, while I sat there drawing my designs. And then we went home. Nothing much really. Mundane stuff.
Then I had dinner, and this is where part of the little unrest I had today comes in. My dad just upgraded the contract to the internet subscription, and apparently, we get to choose a free gift. Either a laptop or a desktop. Well, for obvious reasons, my mum preferred the laptop, because you can carry it around. But, I wasn't really for that idea. I feel that it's quite impractical really. How many of us own laptops, which we actually carry around? And no, carrying it to the living room, or any other part of the house,
does not constitute to "carrying around". To which, my dad replied, : "Look on the bright side of things. Must learn to be positive. Don't keep having negative thoughts." In response, I simply rolled my eyes and thought," Whatever dude. Stop being so zen."
My dad didn't see me roll my eyes, but my mum did. She kicked my chair, indicating that should continue to roll my eyes, but not let my dad see it. Or stop rolling my eyes actually. Either way, just make sure my dad didn't see it. In the end, the chair didn't hurt. Her toes did.
After that, I began a mini marathon of watch stuff. I watched Bleach episode 63. Can't wait for 64 to be released X). Then I proceeded to the living room, to catch up on America's Next Top Model, which I recorded on tape, and to continue with my designs.
Halfway through, my dad came out to the living room, and sat on the couch next to mine. Jay Manuel was making comments regarding poses, the models not my dad's. To which my dad commented, : "You notice something? Everything the man just said was positive. You should learn to be like that." To which, I once again thought,: "WHATEVER DUDE! STOP BOTHERING ME!" And while he wasn't looking, I rolled my eyes. And did i mention that he sort of patted me on my back? I hate it when people to such stuff. And so, the second half of the Unrest was completed. And I was pissed.
After all that, I played DOTA with Eden and gang. Turns out, I still suck at it. But I tried my best anyway.
The day has come to a conclusion, and here I am, blogging, during the Witching Hour, in hopes that I keep my memories somewhere. Let's just hope that The Shack doesn't burn down or something, reducing my precious memories to ashes in the process.
To enemies of Hidden Shack:
Chances of The Shack burning down are slim, and when I say slim, I do mean REAL SLIM. So don't get your hopes too high.
