Simplicity vs Complexity

Simplicity and complexity... There are two ways in which this could go. It's either you're simple, or you're complex. It's as simple as that.... Or it could be complex, depending on the way you look at it. However, it is some times hard to tell both of them apart.

For one, this statment (meaning this) is simple and yet complex at the same time. First of all, it's self-contradictory. It first tells us that it is simple, and then, it proceeds to complex-ify the entire thing by further adding that it is complex, thus making it complex. However, it is actually very simple if you don't think too much into things. However, it is always the case that we confuse very simple matters with complex stuff.

Here comes the complex part.

How do we know when it's complex? Or when it's just simply simple and what you see is actually what you get?

For example, (with reference to actual events) HQMS often makes comments that are very simple. Or so it seems. First HQMS says A. This is in fact very simple. However, when A comes true, HQMS doesn't support it any further, and resorts to acting in manner B, which is completely the opposite, and contradicts A. So is this simple or complex in nature? Is HQMS simple or complex in nature?

Here's my take.

It is simple. At first. First, when you look at it, you think ''Hey, HQMS is a good guy.'' However, upon deeper thought, HQMS could actually be saying A and thinking B deep in HQMS very own heart. Then you think, '' Hmm. HQMS might just be on the other side.'' Complex. Isn't it?

Wait. It gets worse.

Another thought-train comes along your train-of-thought track. ''What if HQMS's original intentions for saying A were sincere? And I have in fact been thinking too much?'' This makes it all the more complex.

Think... Ultimately, the soultion to preventing things from evolving from simple to complex is quite simple actually (no pun intended).

Don't think too much into things. Simple.

But what if things were not as simple as they seemed?

Just yet another nonsensical entry from the nonsensical me. But if you think of it, it is actually quite interesting, the way humans have such complex minds, which more oftn than not, mistake simplicity for complexity, and vice versa.
